sportBU Beach Road Show – 28th to 30th May



Ever wanted to try Beach Soccer or Ultimate Frisbee, learn to smash in Beach Volleyball or just play some social Tag Rugby? Well now is your chance whilst visiting the Family Adventure Festival. sportBU at Bournemouth University are running a Beach Sports Road Show for three days as part of the festival’s fringe events where both children and adults can come along and try their hand at various beach sports, all FREE OF CHARGE!!

sportBU will also be bringing along their inflatable speed gun machine so you can test your strength and speed to see how fast you can kick and throw, with a chance of winning free tickets to the BH Live Adventure Hub at the BIC, and free summer kids camp places held at the University.

Tuesday 28th May – Southbourne Beach

Thursday 30th May – Alum Chine

(East of Alum Chine)

Lacrosse with English Lacrosse and sportBU Lacrosse club

Power Kiting with charity KiteRight**

**Power Kiting – Land based taster sessions on training kites with qualified instructors. No booking needed, just turn up on the day or visit for more information. Optional £5 donation.

Each session will be supervised and led by the national governing bodies of sport and local clubs so you can learn the basics of the game, or just participate and enjoy some activity on the beach as a family. The sporting sessions are open to both adults and children (minimum ages of 7), with something for everyone to try.

The sessions are running from 10am until 1pm on an hourly basis. To book your place please call sportBU on 01202 965012 or email
